4. Coast Guard Beach, Eastham, Massachusetts
Coast Guard Beach is part of the Cape Cod National Seashore in Massachusetts. Nearby, on the Cape’s Bay side, is the First Encounter Beach, where pilgrims and Native Americans first met in 1620. Coast Guard Beach is also known for its historical lighthouses. The water here is chilly year-round, making it a great place to enjoy the beach atmosphere and take in the view from the grassy dunes.
